(7/28) Seattle’s famous evening parade is back with more than 100 different floats, groups and performances participating in the procession down Fourth Avenue, with grand marshal Jordan Morris of Seattle Sounders, leading the way. Tickets for University Village pick up/drop off location tickets for evo pick up/drop off location Just show up at either pick up/drop off location with a sleeping bag, hiking boots, clothing, a reusable water bottle and any toiletries you need-The North Face will take care of the rest. The outdoor apparel company will take you and a friend to a campsite in the Skagit Valley area that will have everything you need: food, entertainment from local bands Ruler and Spirit Award, and a tent, already set up for you.

(7/27–7/29) Go camping without the stress of camping with The North Face this weekend. Shoreline Community College, Shoreline, 16101 Greenwood Ave. Highlights include a solar art gallery, barter fair, test rides of electric bikes and tours of tiny homes. (7/28) Learn to become more environmentally responsible at the nonprofit Shoreline Solar Project’s 15th annual renewable energy and sustainable living fair. A sound movement stage, food trucks and kid-friendly activities round out this entertaining event for art enthusiasts.

(7/27–7/29) The largest arts and crafts festival in the Northwest returns with more than 300 artists presenting a variety of unique, handcrafted wares, such as wood carvings, clothing, pottery and paintings for sale. Before Santa makes his trip around the world, he leads a fiery torchlight parade down the slopes at Whitefish Mountain Resort and hands out a few presents.
